Don’t Miss The Boston Art & Music Soul Festival 2019

Don't Miss the Boston Art & Music Soul Festival 2019
This June, the Boston Art & Music Soul Festival will put the dynamic and diverse talents of local artists on display, and communities across the city will come together to enjoy a Saturday afternoon of music, dance, visual art, delicious food, and more.

When and Where

The Boston Art & Music Soul Festival will be held at the Franklin Park Playstead Field on Saturday, June 22. The event runs from noon until 8 p.m. Franklin Park is located at Pierpont Road, Boston, Massachusetts, 02119. While the festival is open to the public and admission is free, guests are encouraged to register in advance.

The Festival

The day-long event will feature an interactive exhibition of art by artists curated by Rob Gibbs of Artists for Humanity. The paint and graffiti artists will present engaging, challenging material on the spot, and you can watch their creativity at work. In the Beat Feet Dance Zone, you can learn a variety of dance styles of African origin and influence, guided by local choreographers. If you’ve brought an appetite, food trucks will be on site to serve up a variety of different cuisines that can be found all around Boston. Local vendors across the region will also be set up to purvey art, craft goods, and more. You’re also welcome to bring your own cards or board game and socialize with friends and neighbors all day long.

Live music will fill the air, as two stages will host Hip-Hop, R&B, Jazz, Soul, Afrobeat, Fusion, Funk, and Spoken Word.
